Awakening Youth Patch

 The Awakening Youth Patch is a 4” wide woven patch with iron-on backing.

All of Korn’s proceeds from the sale of this patch will be donated to Awakening Youth.

Since 2011 Awakening Youth’s mission has been to ignite vision, build relationships and restore family.

With a focus on young people 13-23 who have experienced the loss of a parent to addiction, mental illness, divorce and death, Awakening Youth creates advocacy, educational environments and residential experiences for this vulnerable population. The opportunity to be surrounded by positive peers in a proactive environment restores the healthy social interactions lost during the trauma of their childhood.

At this time our greatest need as an organization is for student scholarship specifically for single parents and children whose parents struggle with addiction. Funds will go towards:

• Scholarships to our successful existing program.
• Staffing and facility needs required to make the experience widely accessible.
• Continuous development of systems that will allow low income families & kids to access our services by relying on state funds for children, creating a robust fundraising campaign for families who fall between the cracks and the Zimbabwe orphanage, insurance funds for those who cannot afford our services and a private-pay program for families who can afford.
• Being able to expand our current program to serve a broader scale of students, ultimately 1200-1500 students at a time to meet the overwhelming requests received by families.
